The Become Who You Are workshop is composed of a small group of faithful Catholics who are all on a journey of self-discovery. Through the interactions with others and reflections during break-away sessions, we begin to discover some of the ways God made us.
Traditional
No two people were more fully themselves than our Lord and Our Lady. The Become Who You Are workshop is structured around the rosary. This gift from Our Lady to the church allows us to reflect on the mysteries that Our Lord and Our Lady experienced and how they became fully themselves through those mysteries. Similarly, identifying our own personally lived Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorius and Luminous mysteries helps us come to know. and become more fully, who God created us to be.
Prayerful
Prayer is our heart speaking with God’s heart. Through prayer we can allow ourselves to be loved, seeing ourselves through God’s eyes. He made us and he knows who he made us to be. He wants us to become fully alive as he made us. Through the suggested prayers at the Become Who You Are workshop, you can more fully realize this identity.
What is it?
Become Who You Are is an 8-session workshop designed by our founder, Loree Lippsmeyer. She spent many years working with clients in therapy and spiritual direction. During these years, she discovered so many people don’t see themselves as the loved child of God that they are. This workshop is the fruit of her own reflections and prayer life as she discovered more fully who God made her to be.
Become Who You Are is a Catholic program dedicated to discovering more about who God specifically created you to be enabling you to more consciously walk out that identity. In searching for your uniqueness in Christ you will explore the importance of the meaning of your name and unveil the characteristics of the saints you admire and how they relate particularly to you.
The workshop will guide you to reflect on your own life through scripture and the mysteries of the rosary and how those mysteries connect with your lived experiences. You will have opportunities to reflect, share, and connect the patterns and themes in your own life.
As you participate in the exercises and in the group you will begin to discover how God forms you from your past and present experiences and discover more clearly who you are. Upon completion of the workshop you will have a specific description of the unique, miraculous, and unrepeatable child of God that He made you to be and a lens to more intentionally live from and by Gods grace.
